The goal of Social-Impact is to accelerate growth and increase impact of social entrepreneurs' projects and/or organizations. Social-Impact's programme provides social entrepreneurs with: mentoring, training, consulting, capacity building, networking opportunities and access to financing. Social-Impact's comprehensive and customized technical and financial services will enable social entrepreneurs to step up significantly their development toward scaling their organizations. The programme is offered to select candidates who have demonstrated exceptional progress in creating projects or programmes to address social issues.

At the end of the two year programme, participants should be equipped to take their organizations to the next level by having gained:

• A clarified vision towards long-term growth and scaling or replication.
• A strong understanding of the role of business planning.
• Specific skills and tools to underpin implementation.
• A sustainability plan.
• Improved understanding of financing options and access to funders.
• An expanded network of business, social sector, government, financiers, and academic contacts.
• An enhanced understanding of the role and benefits of measuring their impact.

Group Training                                                                                                                          
You and your Social-Impact colleagues will be offered training courses in Hyderabad with in-person instructors and global video-conference instructors. We will focus on providing tools for you to create a strong business plan and practical implementation plan for your organization to scale or replicate its current activities. Course subjects may include: finance, leadership, product development, marketing, human resource development and organizational design for scale. Learning will be enriched by classroom interaction with your classmates who are also chosen for their exceptional potential and experience. This is a two-year programme, and the schedule will entail 4 full week's time commitment during the course of the 1st year.

Specialized Training and Support                                                                                                  
Depending on your needs, we will help you find and fund specialized consultancy services to ensure the business and implementation plans created during the aforementioned training sessions are executed successfully. In partnership with experts, we will help you address key issues proving to be major barriers to your organization's growth such as tax, legal or technology-related issues.

Mentoring                                                                                                                                
To support you as you implement your plans, you will be paired with a trained mentor who has excellent professional credentials (in the public, private or social sectors), a strong network and an ability to support and nurture your growth. All mentors receive advanced training to ensure they can help you appropriately during challenging times. Mentors will be available on average 2-4 hours per month, and Social-Impact will actively monitor this relationship to ensure you receive the high quality support you deserve.

Access to Finance                                                                                                                     
All of the founders of Social-Impact have managed companies built on venture capital funding, personally secured funding for non-profit and for-profit ventures, and more recently been active investors themselves. We understand that in order to grow a social venture, access to capital is essential. Part of the Programme will consist of a rigorous assessment of your capital needs and your potential capacity to leverage additional financing for further growth as well as learning to build a compelling fund raising pitch. At the end of the programme, we will select those participants with a solid business plan and provide them with access to funding sources. Social-Impact will help them connect with many of the leading innovative international investors - private and institutional - making grants, lending and investing in social enterprises in India as well as making itself directly a few bridge loans and grants in some selected cases.

Networking                                                                                                                              
Social-Impact will host one networking event in Hyderabad per quarter that is likely to be in the form of an evening speaker presentation, dinner or reception. We will actively engage our alumni, faculty, mentors and leaders from the business, government and NGO communities for these events. We will also operate a virtual network and an online information hub that will provide access to resources, websites, ideas and people globally who support your vision.

Knowledge Dissemination                                                                                                           
In addition to operating this programme, Social Impact is commencing an action research initiative to track the impact of our interventions so that we may share them with others in the field.
